  6. I just switched from steel cut oats to oat groats–I enjoy them just as much, if not more because they have a little more chewiness to them that I like. My husband also eats oatmeal (regular rolled oats) for breakfast and if he doesn't have time then he'll have oats for dinner ๐Ÿ™‚ So many oats eaten in our house–we are definitely joining your oatmeal gang ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Protein actually only exists in plants, so meat only gets protein bc animals eat plants. So everyone worrying vegans don't get enough protein need to educate themselves

  15. Oatmeal ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ I cook the mixed berries in with the oats, plant milk and cinnamon and squeeze in half a lemon ๐Ÿ’š it. Baked tufo, tufo best friends are Tamari, spices, Nootch and peanut butter.

  16. I don't understand the whole protein fascination. Excess protein get converted into carbs and are then digested. So in essence you don't need to consume that much. Loved the video and foods.

  17. How many calories does he eat per day??? Like 150 g of protein is a lot and definitely requires a lot of calories to go with it.

  20. I make crispy tofu bites. You take extra firm tofu, dab it with a napkin to get extra moisture out, cut it into thin slices, dip the slices in soy sauce, then bread it with nutritional yeast flakes, and pop them in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, at ยฐ400 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’œ so so yummy!

  23. Add cinnamon and a dash of vanilla bean to the steel cut oat cooking process, perhaps some unsweetened coconut on top…..no chocolate chips needed!! And I agree that fresh fruit is always better. Awesome vlog you beautiful vegan Canadians!

  24. Love oatmeal, especially from steel cut oats. My hack is to make it overnight in the fridge (Boil water and pour it into a bowl of raw oats and then just let it sit in fridge covered overnight, then microwave for ~30-60 seconds in the morning) or to make them in the Instant Pot!
