Fleabag series two starts filming with Sherlock’s Andrew Scott joining BBC show – Daily News


 The extraordinary and hotly anticipated BBC show, , based on the play from Phoebe Waller Bridge, has started filming for the second series  The principal cast are set to return, but there will also be some new arrivals to create even more difficulties for our beloved , who is likely still recovering from the first season’ woes (not to worry, we won’t spoil for anyone who’s not yet seen it )  Creator and star Phoebe has said of the new series: “I can’t believe they let me do this AGAIN   “I’m so happy to be back with the incredible team and I’m as surprised as anyone about where this series has taken us… thank God for Andrew Scott ” The series follows the eponymous , played by Phoebe, as she lives her life of starting a cafe and trying to avoid the bailiffs with her best mate Boo  But things are not quite as they seem and throughout the drama, ‘s friends and family help the viewer to discover what’s really going on behind the mind of the protagonist, and what she is struggling with behind her quick wit and acerbic sense of humour  But who will be joining Phoebe in the second series?  Back for more action from the first series is Olivia Colman, who played ‘s godmother, Sian Clifford as her sister Claire and Bill Paterson as her dad  Also returning is Brett Gelman as Martin, ‘s brother in law, Jenny Rainsford as Boo and Hugh Skinner as ‘s hapless on-off boyfriend Harry   But joining the cast for some more fun is Sherlock’s Andrew Scott, but little is known at present about who will be playing or whether he’ll be a help or hindrance to   The show will be aired on Amazon Prime and BBC3 in 2019.
