Dinner Party Appetizer Recipes : How to Serve Puff Pastry Appetizer Straws

The puff pastry cheese straws have come out
of the oven, they have let them cool and brought them over here. Now, I’m going to show you
how to arrange them, so that they add some height to your table. Not only is this dish
really tasty, I mean it’s just a flakey puff pastry with the cheese – it’s just a really
good combination. But, it’s also a really nice decorative thing to have on your table.
You’ll see that if I just used the vase on its own, well, the cheese straws would be
completely lost in the glass and not very easy to get at for your guests. So, I just
filled it with some clean, decorative rocks. You can get those at the craft supply store
or florists, sometimes you can ask them for it. I’m just arranging them like that, and
it will add a point of interest to your table, a bit of grandeur. Like I say, they’re really
good just on their own, but if you want to be really over the top, you can even make
like a roasted red pepper dip, or serve that with some homemade pesto, a sundried tomato
pesto. That would just be really something. But, just on their own, their buttery, you’ve
got the wonderful taste of the parmesan cheese, and it looks great on your table.
